356 Registry Forum.
I see the registry has yet again locked their forum to non-members.
It doesn't matter if you speak your mind, because those that matter don't mind and those that mind don't matter.......!

It's a strange place. They finally got the current mag online, technical articles. Sometimes it's hard to disagree it's a magazine producer with an attached car club.

Re: 356 Registry Forum.
That’s a very eloquent way of putting it Neil.
I was a member some years ago and the magazine was very good quality, but not sure if it was worth the membership fee?
You could however, say that of most one make/model clubs, but it was nice to be able to read what was going on as a non-member, even without being able to chip in or ask my own questions!

Yes I thought it was great just to see what was going on 356 wise. I realise not every thing is free in life but often you got a good idea where you could buy or obtain something you needed from the forum. That must have helped suppliers as well as those needing to know where to go !!
I have owned my 356A for 57 years and I have over the years found some items for my car which really helped me.

Re: 356 Registry Forum.
We have been members since the mid '80s and have always enjoyed reading the magazine, like Roy over the years we have also bought some bits.
But the main thing for us is the depth of knowledge, if you run into a problem someone has come across it before and I have found a question on the forum provides a solution.
Yes you do get the occasional weird post, 'differences of opinions' between people posting, but they are easy to ignore.
All in all we find it well worth the $75 annual fee and now a $50.00 digital is available.
