WEVO 915 Side Shift Transmission Kit (916): Instruction Manuel Help Needed.
Hi have a NOS WEVO 915 Side shite kit to allow a 915 transmission to work in a 914/6 set up. However, I do not have a instruction manual to ensure it is fitted and set up correctly. The kit is no longer made by WEVO and they have not responded to my emails. Hence, asking here just in case anyone can assist. Thanks

This is the BOTT kit, not sure if the parts/principles are the same?

This one is for a 356 box, but may contain some details which could be helpful?

Plus Patrick Motor Sport have done quite a few of these conversions, so you might be better speaking/e-mailing them?

Hi Michael
what is the issue with fitting the kit, as on the Wevo site the instructions are there on the Web site, with (apparently?) no mods to the box and it is a strait bolt on kit, remove the end case and fit the Wevo one with the bits provided onto the existing selector shaft ??
with the missing exception that you will need to turn the diff round, unless you are wanting to go back very FAST,
and depending on the box you have some machining is needed in side the diff case to clear the heads of the diff bolts and the Crown wheel
the diff will need the diff bearing pre-load checking/setting and the back lash re setting when turned, if you have the later box with the Ellectric speedo, the Diff side plate will need some modification for the speedo sensor to fit
I have not fitted a Wevo Kit but have fitted App' 6 of Mr Botts kits from Germany to convert the 915 box to a 916 box, fitted to early mag box's and later SC box's
regards mike
