Interesting.
Did he already know how to start the car without you telling him, even though only you know how to start the car?

Joel is on the forum already.
I’m sure he’ll keep us updated on the car.
He also has a 2.2E (blut orange), and an extensive stable of classic road and race cars, so starting a 911 from cold is a no brainer for him.

.
I think that's Joel Hopwood - he was recently asking for advice when he was contemplating buying a 906 'reconstruction' ...

maverick
noun
1. an unorthodox or independent-minded person.
2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

Great pic! Le Mans 1968. Sadly the #60 911 crashed out after three hours, while the #35 907 was lying third when it broke a rocker arm... The #64 911 finished 2nd in the GT category, 13th overall. No fewer than 13 Porsches took part that year.

~ 15 yrs ago - my '73 911E/S on the rollers at Bob Watson's.
You can't see it but. on the same day, Graham's Lola-Porsche was through the doorway to the left having some tuning carried out ...
