Sealed bids open tomorrow on Jochen Rindt's company '67 308139S, subsequently rally prep'd by Salzburg and with some Euro rally history

No estimate is published, I suspect they're aiming for somewhere between the $570k SCCA / IMSA 308299 made at Monterey '22 & $912k Bruce Jennings' 8k mile, 1 sprint, 308475S brought at Monterey '19, both factory rally pack

Guess there’s more going on in the shell than jumps out from the photos. Seems cheap otherwise? Some carpet and seats and it would become a fast road car fairly easily.

That, or the non-unobtanium classic bubble is about to burst. I had my splittie valued at just shy of 60k€ last year. Values of similar ones seem to be sitting around 40k at the moment. Most of us plebs are skint now.

From the auctions that I watched, most cars sold for significantly under their reserve prices & quite a few didn't sell 'on the day' ...

However, the biggest surprise to me was the '88 Fiat Uno Turbo i.e that sold for ~£30k !!

At last weekend's Classic restoration show there was a mint looking 2.2 T Targa on a stand amongst lots of low mile desirable cars.

£99,990 or there abouts it said on the sticker.

2 years ago Hagerty Agreed value my 73T at £50K

Recon that will be half that now if adjusted.

great patina there. Assume the gearbox was modded for a 'stinger' style trumpet. Bet thats loud. wonder why the rev counter was swapped for a non S/RS ?

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.
