Big Mecano ! Damn this is fun :)
Does it have to go back together too ?
OK, so I'm finding the rust, but then I expected to. The rear rockers are going to need some work, certainly on the OS, where the clag collects around the oil pipes but the front looks better. Think I won't re-fit that IB stuff (Too heavy) Good job I didn't sell the light weight FG one at Husborne Crawley.

Lucky your good with electrics. Tim think about IROC bumpers mate :) Also think about removing the rockers covers/skits off aswell. It gives the car a smooth muscular look with those Carerra rear flares.

Heres some pics from Pelican..

Black with a polished Targa bar is mega cool too. :) What colour are you going to paint it Tim?

Also are you going to take all the front inner wings back to bare steel before painting? I hope you have access to a sand blaster.

Looking good Tim, looks alot easier to sort than the original!

Give us a shout if you need need a labourer.

Where can you get fibre glass fat bumpers? mine needs as much help as it can get with it a four pot. I know how heavy that rear bumper is, its been on and off too many times

See what you find with 5 minutes with an angle grinder :)
Image
And this is where the front bumper mounts are (Similar both sides.)
Image
And this is where the kidney bowl etc used to be.
Image
At least the sill, jacking point floor are solid
 Still, that is very fixable.
My FG bumbers were on my 1st Targa when I bought it. should be able to find some somewhere Nige.
Don't think I'll be ready for the Northern event this year, but put me done for 2007
Not too sure about the IROC style, I'm thinking slightly more reserved, and light.

Does anyone know if you can get repair panels for the top of the inner wings as shown above ?
I know I can or the Kidney bowl area.
Cheers
