Spa Six Hours - 25th - 29th Sept 2024

Post by hot66 »

https://www.spasixhours.com/en/

We are planning on going again to the Spa Six hours in Sept.

For those that have not been before , it's a great event heavily focussed on the racing rather than the 'show' . It's one of the times you will see the cars actually racing hard and the main event, the 6 hours is wonderful as they race into the evening. Bring your walking shoes as walking the full circuit is a bucket list thing to do and you get wonderful views of the track once you get away from the paddocks. Looks like a different set up to previous, as in practise is weds / thurs, race days are Fri & Sat and after the end of the six hours on the sat eve thats it for the racing. Sunday the track is holding a trackday.

We're doing our usual , 2 groups , one on Hull Rotterdam, the other on the Tunnel. We will be staying in our usual lodges a few miles from the circuit . These are cheap and cheerful + there is a bar and 'food' onsite too.

If you're up for it post below

Up for it. I've still got 'credit' at the accommodation from 2022 as I got covid and couldn't go.

Not the lodges James, we've booked somewhere else at the beginning of the year.
Yes, be great to catch up, been a long time. The plan is that I'll come from Glasgow and get the ferry. And meet Stephen, James etc on route after they get the tunnel.
