Scrap battery box (911)
Hello, anyone got a scrap battery box ?
I’m looking for the bracket on the side if possible?
Preferably the passenger side of a RHD CAR.
The bracket which holds the L shaped bumper bracket. Will obviously pay for it. Porsche doesn’t make the bracket anymore.
Thanks

I had the right materials to hand and there was an hour left in the day when I came to the end of a job so I made you one. I called but no reply, have sent you a text.
There are two parts to it, there's a bracket and a tab that stands up. I made both, but I think i knocked the tab on the floor and I'll have to have a tidy up in order to find it.

Re: Scrap battery box (911)
I don't rightly recall but what i can tell you is mine is a 1970 car (two battery boxes) and in that corner there are three things: an expansion chamber for the petrol tank, the bumper and a horn.leedurrant73 wrote:Thanks

The expansion chamber is held by a steel strap, which may connect only to the wing (can't remember). There's an L shaped bracket for the bumper which bolts to the bracket shown, pointing downwards.
It's even possible it's a mounting bolt for the wing, with the headlamp bowl fixing on there.
