That Carrera has been for sale for quite some time - I think people are put off by it being a Sporto ...

How did I miss this? I don't normally look at "of the day" threads.
£52K is a bargain if it's matching numbers.
Remember Ferry Man's restoration?

It wasn’t actually a Carrera. They initially said it was, despite quoting a standard 911 chassis number and having what’s clearly not a Carrera engine. The only Carrera-ish thing was flared arches.
They corrected it part way through the auction.

It’s amazing how far this story has come, from Jamie’s original post of getting the car, his trials and tribulations, throughout the build, to the outcome of the recent sale with more up to date photographs and the twin spark heads.
Just shows how DDK follows owners/members and their cars.

And what a great advert it is.
Full of useful detail, devoid of wanky dealer waffle. Comes across as honest and knowledgeable.
Would that all dealers were like that guy.
