Great hillclimb weekend for the Lola and us.
2 class wins today, miles ahead of a full class, this engine is a cracker!

Saw you flying up today Graham. Congratulations. Coming off the rev limiter at the top, right?911hillclimber wrote:Great hillclimb weekend for the Lola and us.

I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
It was quite busy today, sorry to miss you Rob.
The car was on the limiter across the finish line, so time to open the red line up.
The 'stretch' of the new red line has been great, and takes me by surprise, feels so much faster, yet isn't!
It's me getting older!
Thanks Gary, hope to see you soon at a hill!

That's great news Graham
It must make all the 'Grief' getting the engine to work worth it!
All the best
Ian

Well done! Worth all that heartache, trials and tribulations, that just about everyone on DDK shared with you - that’s all behind you now and just keep that pedal hard to the metal!

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Thank you all, it is a nice episode in this quest that has taken 31 years on the hills in 3 cars, but days like today are rare for someone who tinkers with the cars and is no 'racing driver'.
A rare day, and the rest of the season to go.
Have done 2 Championship events and in those, 4 points earning races, long way to go.
The mighty TVR will get to the post soonest I feel, but a nice glow today.

Congratulations Graham but give yourself some credit. The car doesn't drive it's self!

Fitted a 72 on (?) rain cover in the engine compartment. Used a couple of M6 nutserts and a home made bracket bonded to the inner wing.

Made some progress on a very silly car PC project. CarPlay on a circular display that fits where the clock usually goes.
