That story just seems to get worse the more information he posts.
Well done for finally getting the seller to sort out the engine malarkey, Graham

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
I logged in to to ask for a photo of the VIN but it wanted a credit card to comment so I thought sod that. While I was at it I was going to point out it's a 3.2 engine, albeit without the correct fuel filter and electronics on the engine bay.gridgway wrote:I was wondering how direct I could be in the comments section about it being a load of old bollox!

That exhaust needs more pipes. Another two would make one per cylinder.rhd racer wrote:I posted a pic of the rear some months ago, largely because I was amused at the quad pipe exhaust.

Get in quick before a dealer doubles the price because I doubt they'll be around for long at those prices:
£9,500 914.

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
Just to follow up with an explanation on the 914 for sale - I messaged the vendor through Facebook suggesting he advertise it here and he said he'd rather not. I volunteered that I'd already linked his ad and would he like me to remove that too and he said yes, so I did.

Didn't reach reserve and got bid to about £62k, missed the final, final figure. All those people who were bidding should thank their lucky stars they didn't get it!gridgway wrote:I was wondering how direct I could be in the comments section about it being a load of old bollox!

Nice looking T (US T/E being on MFI)? on ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from ... 1&_sacat=0
Doesn't seem a bad price if it's a proper car.

.
Always makes me cringe when a seller uses terms like 'she' & 'her' when referring to a car.
