I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Strong possibility of that being backdated to a 986 now.

Indeed - driven by Waldegaard/Helmer, with Larousse/Gélin second and Andersson/Thorzelius fourth, all in 2.3-litre 911 S/Ts.

Ants, nothing clever there, just a big meccano kit easy with a good instruction book and a few tools.
My forth 911 aircooled Porsche engine.

Party time with a difference!
JE pistons just arrived, look nice!
Interesting that they come in a Carrillo box, obviously the same company.
Stock Porsche oil rings are far thicker than the JE ones.
Just need to find some plasticine or Blue Tac now.
