PCGB's involvement goes no further than handling the ticket sales, not manning the gates or assisting in any other way, so as Simon and Fred are the organisers, I guess they will have the final say on the day.

Thanks for the input Keith but there is no guarantee of entry. Don't fancy a 250 mile round trip for nothing.

Two emails and a phone call and I finally got my ticket. A lot of BS from PCGB regarding the tickets. Claimed that everyone was sent a receipt for the order and a ticket directly after payment. The reason lots of people did not get the necessary documents, according to PCGB, is that they ended up in "recipients' junk mail" and this " auto clears" after a while. Complete nonsense. I have been receiving e mails from PCGB for years without problems. Rant over.

Big gap between order and e-ticket but it has arrived.

It has been a long time since i have been to the castle so I am excited. I am taking my new 912, be great to meet and say hi to a few fellow DDK ers. If i recall there was a time and place people tended to migrate to meet up but I might be dreaming it. Anyway… I will be in Tangerine 912 - SRR 192F so be great to say Hi.

Back when I was ed of Classic Porsche, and when we had a magazine presence, we'd meet at the stand. But as the new owners of the mag and the current editor can't be arsed to attend, then why not come and meet up at Group 4 Wheels stand at, say, midday? I'll be there with my 914...

Now without any prompting on Tuesday PCGB sent me another ticket plus links to the parking layout for the various car types plus a detailed map of the whole site and surrounding roads. I had received my original ticket some while ago no problem, but this second ticket has a different QPR code. Bit strange but I'm taking both just in case, anyway I don't expect Fred will even let me in the place cos I'm reliably informed he hates outlaws.
Oh and you would have thought the Claustral Porsche people would have been in attendance at this hi profile meeting but I suppose they heard there won't be many Boxsters or 944's there, hey ho, their loss.
