Looks lika an 80's targa with a beetle floorpan... not sure of the merits of this conversion other than to upset PCGB members

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
Thing is, it's registered as a Porsche, despite being on the VW floorpan. The chassis has also been shortened, so needs to be put through IVA. It could have been made legal pretty easily but as it is, I hope for his sake he doesn't get pulled by VOSA or traffic for a routine pull (which a car looking like that is inviting to happen) as the paperwork will be revoked and the car taken off the road. It's also uninsured while being used as is...Ollie wrote:Looks lika an 80's targa with a beetle floorpan... not sure of the merits of this conversion other than to upset PCGB members![]()

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
Funnily enough we scratched our heads about what it was for a while at the show too...the chamber gave it away.
In a similar topic was this next to it, which I think is über cool in an odd kind of way

We overheard the owner saying that he had a visit at his home address from the police after someone made a complaint. They said they were going to take away the V5.....Anyhow, he quickly moved it off the road and arranged for an inspection at VOSA which it flew through, saying it had been done really well. Presumably it was registered as a beetle, not sure what it is now but it wasn’t wearing a Q plate

That pic was taken just seconds before the argument broke out between the 356 owner and the attendant about the repair of a kinked 356A Hood.......W

My 200,000 mile 993. A lockdown purchase six months ago, first time seeing it yesterday, luckily it seems to be OK.
