Re: SCAT crank
You could try PRS. That's where I got mine.

Re: SCAT crank
I think that Andy Prill is the European Distributor but would also try PRS first
Ps unless you want to rev your engine to 8k an not sure of the benefit of Scat cranks? Plus you have to modify the bearings to fit. Says someone with zero experience. Speak to an expert
Have a look at Peter Graham's engine rebuild thread on 912bbs

Re: SCAT crank
Neil as far as I’m aware a Scat crank is often the only option once your original Porsche crank has been machined to more than first under size due to the distinct lack of availability of bearings!

Re: SCAT crank
As an aside, Scat makes new 356/912 cranks for Porsche...

Re: SCAT crank
I had heard that bearings are hard to find but there are other options? I don't have the experience to say which to use. That is where an experienced engine builder earns their penniesTimo wrote:Neil as far as I’m aware a Scat crank is often the only option once your original Porsche crank has been machined to more than first under size due to the distinct lack of availability of bearings!
On that front Ian wasn't your engine which built by your Dad and sorted by PRS? Hopefully nothing has gone wrong
