Engine lid struts

Post by Ian Gunney »

After having given faithful service for the last 22 years, the rear engine lid struts have given up the ghost - any recommendations for replacements?

cheers

Ian

Hi Ian,

I'm fairly certain I got mine from Heritage Parts and they were about £12 each;

Kind regards,

Mine were the other way round and the lift was vicious but I found out that the PO had put the strut in for a later car you have to double check the part number. I think I got mine from Eurocarparts no it pops open and with just a touch it lifts up nice and progressively.
