Retro Central locking..

Post by Dyno Soar »

I want to fit central locking to my 77 911. Does anyone know where I can get those central locking actuators from.

I had C/L fitted to my old 914 and bought some actuators for £20 each from the company that fitted but they can't get hold of them now.

I am having a new Alarm fitted to my 911 and Mustang soon and would love to have the Alarm connected to a central locking system.

Anyone have any leads???

I have two actuators lying around, can pass them on for a fellow DDKer, left over from a 4-door remote central locking thing I installed in my MX5 (hence te two spares) great simple kit bought cheap from one of these ebay sellers. I doubt security is high, but it's an MX5, so security isn't high to start with ! (Stanley knife the roof if you need to !) There are secure ones around, code hopping scanner proof etc, but I'd look on ebay if I wanted to do this again.

Yes I have a VW kit i bought and these are aftermarket VW ones and they are available for about £25 they are a very good kit and they have been designed to fit VW doors with a patern card so they are dead easy to fit... but we have Porsches well the kit is very sturdy and robust so it's a case really of findingyour own position

Luke I am looking at a few Alarm installers but the guy I want to do my Alarm is specialising in Lazerline Alarms which look a bit crap. I want a Cobra, Toad or Clifford for both of my cars. I'll let you know how it goes.

Tim, what do you want for those actuators?

Thanlks for the links Pablo.
