Thanks all for the ideas and feedback, very helpful.
That does look like a cool route, doesn't it, Best thing is we would have to drive back along it to get the ferry!! Any idea how long that would take (each way)?
Regards

The roads are good, but in winter with storm there may be some cuts, especially in the area of Vielha.yoda wrote:Thanks all for the ideas and feedback, very helpful.

Natural parks, great landscapes and roads with many curves.

That looks a spectacular route. I did Cadaqués-Puigcerdá and over into France to Toulouse last summer. Really impressive roads and fab views.

Re: Road Trip ideas - Pyrenees or somewhere else?
Agree, lovely route, but getting there and back would be hard work, but French driving is great (imho).
We always run out from Calais, and find 450 miles/day of motorway bashing to cross country about the max even in the Boxster.
So, scoot down, across the country and slow France run back.

That’s the route we are doing down to Barcelona then ferry to Palma Mallorca - five days doing Palma, Lluc circuit and Tramntana ( google Sa colobra and Formentor roads) - ferry back to Barcelona straight up to Bilbao and then Santanderyoda wrote:Thanks all for the ideas and feedback, very helpful.

Go early to miss the cyclists especially the lighthouse end ( I’ve cycled that bit myself and it’s a great bit road)

We plan to do both Sa Colobra and Formentor at dawn to avoid the cyclisti and then spend the rest of the day hanging out by the pool etc. I am in Palma right now doing some reccehot66 wrote:Go early to miss the cyclists especially the lighthouse end ( I’ve cycled that bit myself and it’s a great bit road)
