I wonder if more knowledgable could have a look at these photos
following parts were listed as being used following a crash I had a few years ago,
Front slam panel,Tanks surround and tank support ,Tank support
Car has now been stripped ready for a repaint and it looks a bit shite to my eyes.
Definitely had some work, but if it’s solid and aligned then I’d leave it. Once it has seam sealer and a layer of stone chip over it you’ll never see it again.
If the shell is bare it might be a good call to have a Celette alignment done before paint.
Looks like lazy repair work rather than quality resto work. Is it solid etc though ? Would t take much to tidy it up at this stage of it bother you. Have you sent a pic of this to the guys who did this repair work ?

It looks solid enough, and its going to be tidied up before paint.
In fact the whole shell isn’t too bad compared to some
Was on a jig to check alignment after my crash, so during these repairs.
Contacting the specialist who undertook the repairs is next on my list, just wanted to know what was thought of them before I did.
Cheers
It looks pretty shabby to me - perhaps a chat with whoever did that and get them to fix it. Barry’s work gives a good (high) benchmark, but that looks to be quite a way off. And am expecting you paid more than £50 an hour for that + parts...
You can see spot welds have been drilled out on the lateral support, it has then been "straightened" out on then welded back on. The weld towards the front is very special.
It was an insurance claim so I didn't pay for it, but I am now paying to have it put right.
I guess I worry how straight my car is after this work.
