As I recall they were quite a bit heavier than the car they were based on (both Giulietta and Giulia models I think) so not as nice to drive and rather expencive in comparison. Still a great looking car!richkaz wrote:From memory that SS was once the worlds most aerodynamic production car.
Alfisti weren't that keen for some reason.

Such an ace car.
I bet it is fun to drive but don't alter your line through a corner or it will complain.

Fabulous 2CV, I hope you have lots of fun with that!
Not a great photo, but an amazing car.

A beautiful Bentley at The Station last evening, touring the Dales with an Alvis.

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
I do love the history, some of the styles, the coachwork details and the engineering, but most of them don’t drive well and they’re dog slow. It’s just that they’ve been part of my life since I was a kid and now my son has all the posh ones through his factory in better condition than they ever used to be.
My all time favourite is a good MK VI Bentley because they go well, about the same as a 356 and steer better, but later XKs and old Mercs are good too. My Healey is a bit of a test too.
