Hi all,
Just before I tackle the headlining challenge, what should the finish be on the inside of the A pillar for a 1971 car. I have looked at a lot of pictures and it is black hug I am not sure if it is the same semi matt as the dashboard or a vinyl / leathercloth cover.
Thankyou,
Roger

Black vinyl, like the dash. My was quite matt, but that maybe age!

Re: Finish inside of the A pillars
Just vinyl but leave loads extra at the top as needs plently of material to into the door and window channel. The bottom has a V cut to go over the dash area and also down the door A pillar at the same time. Be careful where you cut as need the dashtop to cover it. Also at the top of the A pillar where meets the headliner its folded over to give a "finish" take time to make the folds similar both sides and also measure distances to make sure both sides look the same when the job is finished.....

Re: Finish inside of the A pillars
A and B pillar on a 71 MY is early vinyl as used from 66 onward.
It's slightly different to the dash if you have valcanized one
If you need the correct type I have some in stock
