I nearly ran the Lola there a few years ago, but it seemed a bit 'iffy' to me.
Used to be full of fast hill climb cars a few years ago.
Have they all gone?

Indeed, at Shelsley.
Best place for racing cars.
Didn't enter in the first meeting as I doubted the Lola could get round the turn at the end of the high street.
Couldn't get insurance either...

I spoke to the driver / constructor. Currently a one off in GRP but the guy has plans to build a few more. The engine and running gear is from a Corvette. Lovely detail in the cockpit and very high quality GRP body. The front is pretty ugly but the rear works in my view.

I took my 18yo (half) brother to Goodwood for his first trip. Dad reckoned his first word was "Audi" so a bit of a petrolhead, and judging by the look on his face from the moment I let him drive the Pagoda into to the event to the moment he got home, he loved it.
Being 18 he told me that the Jagermeister logo says "O dear God" - circle, deer, cross. Not heard that before but having seen the effects of jagerbombs, I can see why

Is that one of those classic/historic engines that now rev to 9,500rpm?
