Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
Keith's picture of Clay Regazzoni reminded me of his F1 career ending crash at the USA F1 Gp in 1980. Although paralysed from the waist down he did try racing in other events with an adapted car.

First picture is maybe not the same car as the crashed one but very similar as far as I can remember.

After uncle Keith's picture of the Ariston above, didn't think I'd see another Italian beauty today... then Ferrari launched the F8

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
If its not photo shopped the pick must have re-entered from space to achieve the speeds necessary to do that. And then it had to stop before it went right through.
And the wooden handle would have to survive the heat. Oh Jebus what am I on about? Sorry everybody, I'll get my coat.

Has to be photo shopped for the reasons you gave.Ralph wrote:The pick axe routine is a Mafia thing isn't it?
No creasing or indentation round the point of entry - is it photo-shopped?

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
There was a time when the camera didn't lie..
Long long gone I think!
Like the newspaper wrapped neatly round the number plate and the picks cut into the panels without and bending or paint chipping on the panel..
Just shoddy attention to detail!
