Paul911 Paul Heales

Post by SeanP »

It is with great sadness and with the consent of his wife Charlotte and family, that I am posting this message. Paul passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday 15th January 2019.

For those that met or knew Paul will know that he was a great character, a friend and an all round good guy.

To Julia and I he was a true friend and a gentleman through and through.

As details of the funeral arrangements become available I will update this thread for those that wish to attend.

If you have a personal message for his family please feel free to contact me and I will pass them on

That’s terrible- a really nice guy and passionate about Porsches.
Sad news indeed- reinforces totally that you must live every day well- he certainly seemed to,

Shocking. Enjoyed meeting Paul at CLM and hearing his enthusiastic plans for his 'retirement'. Another example of a hard working guy who I expect has knocked his pan in to build a business and now doesn't get the opportunity to kick back and enjoy the fruits. I'm with Clive, carpe diem.

Please add my condolences to those of the group.

I heard late yesterday through a mutual friend a fellow DDK'er - was pleased to have Paul, and the rest of his mad bunch on our DDK Le Mans Classic trip, we both shared the same passion for 911's and oddly enough 2-stroke motorcycles. We had stayed in touch and was lovely to meet up with him, as planned, with another from DDK at the last Goodwood Revival for a pint and a chat about 911's. Lovely man - will be missed - sincere condolences to his family, friends and fellow DDK'ers who were part of his circle. RIP

That is very sad news. After exchanging messages on here we met at Luftgekühlt. What a gentleman.

Love to his family during this time.

I was very sorry to learn of Paul's passing. We had met on a number of occasions and I had also met his extended family, a great bunch of folks, he is a huge loss to them, and to the world. So many plans, so little time.

God bless

Sean,
I have only just seen this and like everyone else, I am completely in shock as well. I met Paul a few times (often in your company at Simons Essex gathering and at the 912 Stanford Hall meet & Luft last year) and he seemed a wonderful, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guy and I had hoped to get to know him better as your new venture progressed.
Please do pass on my sincere condolences to his family.

I just heard about this through Chris at FennLane. Can't describe how shocked I am.
I met Paul several times and he was a gentleman is every respect and great fun to be around. We swapped parts, did CLM last year, Radwinter Bruntingthorpe wknd, and we spent a day together chewing the cud and talking all things Porsche when he came to visit me at my home in Cheshire. He was generous to a T and always ready to help anyone who needed it. He had such big plans for the future and I will miss him.
Sean, do please pass on my condolences to Charlotte and their daughters.
He talked about his family with a love and a passion that I could only admire and my thoughts are with them now.
