Thanks for the info Mike. I never really considered myself in the market for an early 911 - my love/money went in the 356, so I’ve not been looking. So I’ve never really fallen for one before. But I’ve a growing love and regard for authenticity. Things could be changing..

Interesting observation about Fuchs on early 911s! As found, the car had been fitted with a set of 14in Fuchs, but Don Ahearn made the decision to fit the Americans. And the rest, as they say, is history...

Got to be honest , the 911 does nothing for me at all ... where as that 356 is fantastic
