Yep, I think it is.

If I were to be run over by a reversing car, it might as well be this - and die a squashed and happy man.

Forza Horizon 4 graphics are just crazy. I think the leap forward is down to the lighting effects.

Here was my first PC racing sim. REVs on the BBC B. Played it to death. It was simply years ahead of its time.
Geoff Crammond started with REVS and focussed on making true 'sims', while everyone else simply made driving 'games' for at least the next 15 years.

I know I’m getting old when all I want to say to that pair is “stop slouching, sort your posture out and pull your pants up properly”.

Awesome. I also lost sections of my childhood playing on that!
Forza 4 is amazing, ridiculously scenic.

Shave off the beard, dye your hair, face lift, tummy tuck
(or two) put on your late 1960s clothing from your wardrobe ( the stuff you wear at weekends in doors) and you are half way there.

We had a BBC B, but my dad wouldn't let us have games. :(

I did eventually graduate to an Amiga and spent countless hours on the Stunt Car maker one and Microprose F1GP.

I blame Crammond and probably more David Braben for me not fulfilling my intellectual potential. What I could have achieved if I hadn't spent so long in front of my computer screen.
