Contact this forum. Porschemania.it Patience needed as everything is in Italian and there is/was a fee to join. It took me a long time to piece together the Italian history of my car from the contacts I made there.

Mike

Do you have any more photo's from the time of your ownership ? I'm trying to find out if the tail is original as it doesn't have a front skirt & did it have fogs, front & or rear ? It has a fog pull switch on the dash.
I have found another previous owner, also in Yorkshire, Jonathan Schofield who bought it in 1984, he can't remember when or from whom he bought it from.
My details from DVLA say a previous owner was
Michael Maynard, from Budleigh Salterton & also Beverley who I think bought it in 1982.
Peter Taylor & Co in London bought it in 1978
It's been silver for many years & the interior was a half leather blue.
When Jonathan Schofield had it it was still ice green but with the blue interior

Thanks & Regards
John,

The tail and fogs are definitely not original. I suspect the fog switch was added with the Carrera 3.2 body bits which had integrated front fogs in the valance. Carrera script in the photo also an addition.
1977 Carrera 3.0
1974 Carrera 2.7 in bits.

I thought that the Carrera script was original/an option?
The rear wing/whale-tail was on the car when I bought it, it's not original to the car being a non-Sports model (hence the Fuchs).
I added the front lip so as to balance the handling.
I have a couple of other shots which I'll be able to post later.
