It's new to me.
Strange appearance of the Vin stamping area and no id plate. Looks a beautiful car but again, several obvious inaccuracies. After all the comments and information on specialist forums and sources it still baffles me why mistakes are still made.

Even more critical though is that the left hand horn grill has four chrome screws whilst the right has three chrome and one black.........

engine #902777 is about 200 low compared to other cars with similar VIN, so should not be assumed to be original.
paint currently silver, and according to some it should be light ivory; so paint and interior may not be correct.
In this price range the Kardex or at least a CoA should be provided.
Let us not forget that this is actually a 1966 model year car even if it was built during calendar year 1965.

It should aslo be running Solex carbs with pierburg pump and correct chain case covers.

I suppose to be fair the expected price reflects the cars state. They don't claim it is a perfect original, nut and bolt restoration. Many early cars were converted to Webbers and it was normal Porsche practice to do this with 'troublesome' Solex cars. Also, it is worth mentioning that it is a 'driver' - its Belgian owner competing in events and keeping the car competitive with certain advantageous changes.
Still a pity that some small features have not been corrected - I expect they will be.
I see its rebuilder involved Nottingham and Bristol Classic Porsche Centres - so who was it?
