Staying blue for the foreseeable then?
How much paint?
Yes Blue
A fair bit.
Surprising when you go round it and then end up earmarking most panels for paint
Obviously still a lot less than a full colour change

Does it drive well i.e. Doesn't leave you nervous at 70mph? I ended up replacing everything which was rubber at front and rear, including wishbone bushes and shocks. The whole lot.
Subframe bushes too.
In saying that you have so few miles you might be fine.
Seeing as you have the wheel off, you're "in there" more or less

He doesn't drive it, so no problems with bushes...

Slooooooooooow progress.
The mechanical work is all but completed.
The windows are out
New rear bumper fitted
Ready to go into the paint bay for prep and paint.
Went in October 31st but when I visited late December it hadn't been touched.
Ensuing argument with paint shop, grumpy Bootsy, toys out of pram etc. and I pulled it from them and booked it in with another shop that I have also used before.
Going in today! Hurrah

Still plenty of time before CLM right?
The whole car should be primed tomorrow and in paint and baking by the weekend - allegedly!

Still plenty of time!
I think I’ll be the only early car there at this rate!

While the back clip is off....expect to replace ...clip support bars, heat shield system and get the corrosion cut out of the rear chassis rails, repaired, repainted and heavily waxed etc. Prepare for surprises. It's certainly policy to get it done.

Been through all of that a few months ago including new supports and anything else that needed replacing
Bought new heat shields a while ago when - knew they needed replacing
It’s also got a new rear bumper

Bit tight, I'd say! CLM 2020 should be OK.
