'67S RHD

Being an original Ossi Blue wouldn't this be a '68 MY (sold late '67)?

Hi Steve

This is a tricky one. We know how 'good' some traders are at descriptions. The first thought is their misunderstanding of the model years and your deduction of late 67 build. Done and dusted you would think because, as you say, there were no Ossi blue 67S cars.

However, it could be another blunder. What if the dealer has miscalled the colour and it's actually Aga blue. An easy mistake to make. There were five Aga blue Rhd 67S's, only two of which we know about.
The dealer says he has the COA and the current colour (even under those strong lights) in the pictures does look more Ossi than Aga so it's still more likely your deduction is correct.

Interestingly, there is one Rhd 67S on the list simply recorded as 'blue' (not Garry's special order colour which is listed as well). It could possibly be that one. Only the chassis number and engine number from the COA is going to confirm one way o the other. Who's going to call them to find out?

Regards
Mike

Mike, to confirm, car is a '68MY registered in '67.

The elusive 'blue' car remains unaccounted for.

Thanks Steve for doing that.

We are still at 23 survivors out of 36 then.

Good work.

Mike
