I used to own the yellow "R-Gruppe" car, I imported it from Paul Kramer in LA. The orange details were added after I'd sold it. Best early 911 I've owned and I've had quite a few - as usual should never have sold it etc, etc !

'Should never have sold it... without a strict colour policy.'

I sold a lovely original mk2 Golf once: appliance white, leather, good stance, 2.1 8v, 16" steels, single wiper... very subtle. Lack of space meant it needed to move on unfotunately. The numptee, sorry, new purchaser took a grinder to the bonnet, sticker-bombed just the one wing and fitted 18" chrome Halfords nasties. I cried.

Agreed, it would look so much better without the orange bits.

I also have similar experience on selling to those without a strict colour policy. Another MK2 Golf, this one a ex 16v metallic grey GTi small bumper and a little 2.9 VR6, turns up eventually bright blue, body kit, slammed and on wheels so big it must have struggled to drive!

Good turn out for the event!

It was a great turnout for a first event. I managed to park out of sight, in my daily. I don't think anyone noticed...

It was a good little meet.
It was organised by a really nice guy called Mark Morgan who is an illustrator and owns the silver 912. He does some really good Porsche inspired artwork and T shirts etc and can be found at www.triplespresso.co.uk.

I was hoping to be there but sadly work got in the way! I think the next ''Breakfast Klub'' meet will be in June. I hopefully will get to that one!
