:? distasteful really at this stage..

if I heard of one come up as I had contacted so many book sellers!!! any one of about 6 said any stock that comes in they will call me first.. I'm happy to buy any that come my way you just pay what I pay or message me your number and details and I can pass them on to you..and between you, you can sort out the money and buy it.. Don't forget I would like to get #69 unopened please... I have #67 if you just happen to get 69 and own a 67 then I will swap :-)

Good luck folk!

Thanks very much 912uk.

I will go on the hunt but if you do get a call about one coming into stock I would love to hear about it if possible.

I found the book advertised here: http://www.hive.co.uk/Product/Jurgen-Le ... s/17615651 for a reduced price of £53.05 with free p&p.
After checking the site a few times, it appeared as in stock about 2 weeks ago, so I took a punt. The book (#002 of #912) turned up a couple of days later. Says it's out of stock now though.

As others have said, it's a nice looking book, with decent content if nothing particularly new, and if you love your/the 912 then it's a nice thing to have. The feature car is a bit of a disappointment IMO.

I'm glad I didn't pay more for it, but as 912uk said, grab one when you get the chance.

Judging from the picture of the engine bay I wouldn´t even want the book if it was given to me for free..

Terrible, terrible research, the 912 deserves much better.

now isn't that funny.. when i called around, Waterstones only had one copy in their warehouse.. Since been sent to my mate in the USA now.

It's very odd how the roll out of the book as been so ......well. Stuttered I guess. No rime or reason to why or how so many don't have a copy..

interesting

I couldn't agree more, it's a poor choice. As Kieth said up to a year to get it togeather and a car that really was so ill picked from a line up of very nice cars from the guys in Europe. Way more accurate.

Still it's a decent effort if a little weak in terms of accuracy. Lets hope the author understands the comments as an accurate and meaningful feed back to the book and not a general moan.

Received my copy from Amazon in the USA this afternoon. All in £60 no import duty. It appears that it is still available if anyone else wants a copy.

Cheaper than Amazon uk
