How very exciting! Hope you will be producing a build thread....

I bought mine originally with ambitions of building a 6, however have kept it as a 4 for now. You guys keep putting ideas in our heads though....if I ever get the space, I'd love to do the same (keep a 4 and build a 6).

Yes Ollie, mine took that long (albeit on and off) - the tractor was a mere 4 years.

It's been a year and a bit since I brought my project home and progress has been slow (I'm no Darren).
It did take a couple of months just to sort the huge pile of parts into labelled boxes.
I decided to start with the engine as I have owned that the longest and you have to start somewhere!

Split the case this afternoon after a major fight with the flywheel bolts

There is some wear visible on the mains so it was worth the full strip down.

Hey looks good. Mines been off the road for 23 years but is in the spray shop as we speak so hope to be back on the road next summer. Good luck with the project, quite fancy doing a 6 conversion now.
