I don't remember whether this is a NOS part or an original that was refurbished by VDO (I bought a 'job lot' of mechanical speedos from them many years ago).
The date code on the back looks like it's '85 so might have been a later spare part
The first picture seems to make the dial look 'dusty' - it's not !
