Re: Insurance - any suggestions?
Brentacre Insurance here, been with RH, Hagerty, Sureterm, etc. All seem decent enough sorting things so generally just swap and change to whoever is the cheapest that year. Never had to claim so can't really suggest who is best from that POV.

Re: Insurance - any suggestions?
Just setting off on this adventure for the next 12 months worth.
Going to try Hagerty tomorrow, won't quote a modded car on-line, oh, and i asked for 4K miles.
Another problem...
With Cherished Vehicle Insurance now, waiting for a 4K mile quote.
If those fail me, might try Adrian flux.
Wont go to Footmans as they dumped me without notice after 16 years loyalty.
Modified car, tut tut.

Re: Insurance - any suggestions?
Just had a very positive conversation about the 911 for next year with Hagerty, I'm impressed with the care, detail and understanding. they knew what a roll cage is!
3K miles = £181 £30K Agreed value and all the mods.
Still waiting for my current insurer to quote for the renewal. They will need to do well to beat this.

I always find Hagerty very knowledgable and helpful on the phone
I'll also consider RH this year based on other DDKer's feedback

I'm with Hagerty. Never had a problem with them. Agreed value, 3k miles. Discount for being a pcgb member, (really must try to get them to recognise DDK).

They advertise with us and regularly refer customers to me to discuss values so I think you'll find they do give discounts to DDK members

Another vote for Hagerty. Been with them for years, excellent to deal with and well priced.

Re: Insurance - any suggestions?
Encouraging for Hagerty!
Thanks.
Told them I am a PCGB member (since 1988) but did not mention DDK as I thought it would go over their heads....
My current supplier has not sent a renewal quote and it's due for 4 July.
Only 2 weeks.
Maybe they are not interested?
4000 miles is £213 so for 33% more miles I pay 15% more.
I think with SPA trip almost agreed on now and the desire to actually use the car more, 4K miles is a good deal for the extra.
Thanks.

Re: Insurance - any suggestions?
I ended up going with Hagarty. They were competitive and appeared to know their business. Interestingly, as I'm probably going to sell the 964 shortly, they suggested limiting insurance to 1,000 miles at first, then looking again once the '64 is moved on.
Apparently its an approach they usually suggest, go for a low annual mileage number then increase it if it looks like you're going to exceed the limit.

Re: Insurance - any suggestions?
Today signed-up with Hagerty.
They speak DDK, understand, quick, simple and very polite.
Cheapest I could find comparing apple for apple.
Miles better than others.
Very pleased.
