These wheels are arrow straight, are painted silver/aluminium and are in a great state!
They were stored for years and were meant for a Porsche 356A restoration project that ultimately was abandoned. They were stored in a shed and they were fallen into oblivion until the shed had to be cleaned out 2 weeks ago because it was going to be pulled down in favour of a newly to be built shed. Then they resurfaced again...
I'm planning to put them under my 356A Speedster SCCA racer (re)creation ('Black Betty'). I want to have them powder coated, but I'm not sure what colour to choose:
- Black as all wheels that were under Betty 'till now;
- Silver because they originally are;
- White like the stripe and gumballs;
- Red as the main stripe over the car...
Because I already have 2 sets of black wheels (the smoothies and the American Racings) I would like to give them another colour.
Red isn't my favourite:
white on the other hand:

Aluminium/silver is a possibility, but boring (I think):

Other ideas? All options are open!
Perhaps someone here on the forum could photoshop some coloured rims into the picture below, so I can/will get an idea what colour would look best...

And here a pic of a wheel for the photoshoppers out there:

What do you think???
