Seen it also... Wasn't very impressed (perhaps my expectations were because of the posts in this topic too high) neither by the effects, nor the storyline... Credibility? Uuuuuhhhh...
Credibility?! This is the cinema where you're supposed to suspend disbelief and enjoy what is actually a science FICTION movie. Perhaps you boring lot should stay at home and watch black and white documentaries on The History Channel?!
Anyway, it's not like the cinema is full of credible movies... Thor, The Hunger Games, The Hobbit to name but three!
It's part of the film's job to make it credible. Many films do that brilliantly for the unlikeliest of scenarios. This one didn't. For me. (And uncle keith).
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Easy to criticise something with as resolutely unlikely a chain of events....but what a ride.
Deserves the praise imho.
I was a bit underwhelmed but I suspect it was the quality of the 3D screen. I wish I've waited to see it on the Waterloo Imax.
However, as least it didn't go on forever and I think was about 90 mins long.

Well my two peneth is I thought it was very good.
I will stay short of epic, but it's good entertainment and certainly kept my atension all the way through.
I agree it must be seen in 3D, I would imagine it might be pretty flat (in more ways than one), without the 3rd dimension!
Not wishing to give anything away, but James Cuaron the director has made a short film about the "earth bound" end of Sandra Bullock's strange radio conversation that happens during the film.
Don't let it put you off going to see the film, I can assure you that's a lot better than this!
