Isn't it?
I own this van since I'm 20 years old. I bought it from the original owner and it's completely documented; I even got the original letter from 'Carrosserie Commerciale de Peugeot' that the original owner got before he ordered the van

I even have the list of accessories in which the original owner marked the accessories he wanted and there are even hand-corrected price changes on that list: and every marked accessory is accounted for in the van!
It's completely original, unrestored (no rust) and in immaculate condition and nevertheless we go on holidays in it every year! It has never -not once- let us down!
And it's really great to drive around small villages and roads with the doors slid open...
I love VW T2 and T3 camper vans and also I like the Citroën HY vans very much, but in my opinion they are no match to a Peugeot J7.
Even at the Peugeot Museum in Sochaux they were impressed and I was allowed -actually they even asked me- to park my van in front of the entrance of the museum:

Normally it's impossible to get there!
And during one of our holidays we met a Dutch couple with a very nice J9 that is technically identical to the J7, but is 10 years younger:
