Porsche 911 T 2.2lt Targa for sale

Post by porschesauce »

Hi all ,

I came across this on The Samba and it looked reasonable value.

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ ... id=1470869

Have a look at the video's. Not perfect but a good car I thought for the money....

Best regards

Paul

You can't beat early history like that.

Despite the sellers description it looks like it was possibly sepia originally.

Nice purchase.

Mike

Didn't think it would last long at that price.

Good value car.

Yep, I enquired about this car, looked good for the money I thought and a really nice detailed description, unfortunately sold before I got a response to my mail. Would have just wired the money if I'd known it was originally sepia :(

What is it about sepia? Here's one (not sure if it's sepia) if you want something to restore: http://www.autoscout24.de/DetailsGTM.as ... src=st%7cs

Just a lovely period colour. That car looks well priced although my german isn't up to much. I have however used an auto translator and the line "body damage to drivers side" is putting me off a little especially as they do not show any pics of the dirvers side.

And if my auto translator is correct it says "further on request". Come on Tim, whats keeping you? Request further pics.

Swap the US73 bumpers on the front for chrome ones, put in a pair of 72 or 73 seats in it and that would be a cracking car unless the drivers side has been taken off by a bus???

It's one of those colours that divides opinion.

No idea. :?

I've 3 kids though so have seen that colour far too often during nappy changing

I think it's a bit of a 'fad' colour at the moment. Not sure how many people would actually want to own it if it came down to that or another colour...

I'd pick Sepia over many colours but then my first 911 was Sepia by choice
