No decent pictures of the 76, I've more or less just bought it.

The 78 started off as a VW Cup race car.

The car was then placed into storage until 2009.

I bought the Golf for £150 a few years ago.

After a good polish and a nice set of Spax coil overs I got it looking like this.



Currently it looks like this.



Plans are to make a track toy.

But it's on hold at the moment.

I've always liked the early Scirocco's and out of interest, what interior are you planning to use? A nice original tartan?

I'm not too sure yet, I keep changing my mind.

I think it may be a light tan colour half leather half alcantara.

I'm using the standard rear seats but have some 944 Turbo seats for the front.
