Who is the buyer anyway? Not a car lover obviously?

My 911T has worn out holes in the top of the door trims, I love it, it's part of the history of the car. It's where previous owners have spent years driving around California looking cool with their elbow hanging out the window.... It's patina and history, I I think it would be a shame to lose it. I could never understand replacing a seat that Steve McQueen sat in or a steering wheel he held. Crazy!

I guess if someone has kept all the original parts then maybe it's OK, but if they were chucked out that is sad.

If I was able to get hold of all the original parts and an old shell, get some restoration work none, would I then have Steve's Le Mans 911....   :bounce:

All the best
