914 just purchased
Hello
I'm new to this forum and Porsche ownership in general. I've just purchased a 1972 914 Californian import which is in need of a lot of love, attention and probably cash to get it back on the road.
Pictures of the car can be viewed at http://www.andystonecontent.com/porsche914/.
If anybody can recommend any good suppliers of parts for 914s or a good (and low cost) aircooled mechanic in South London, I will be eternally grateful.
Thanks
Andy

Congratulations Andy on your 914 purchase and welcome to DDK.
I’m a 914 mechanic; spend my weekends fixing 914s. I come to you and I’m also based in South London.toastelvis@gmail.com wrote:If anybody can recommend any good suppliers of parts for 914s or a good (and low cost) aircooled mechanic in South London, I will be eternally grateful.

Thanks all. I've just emailed Kevin, who was already familiar with the car. Here's to getting it back on the road sometime soon.

Porsche friendly welders in South London
Hello
Please can anyone recommend any good and ideally mobile Porsche friendly welders in South London?
I have a 914 that needs the driver's seat runner welded in and a couple of repairs to the battery compartment?
Thanks
Andy
