Andrew, have done the white paper check?

Tinted glass can look clear at first glance, as the tint is very faint!

Andrew

Slight bodge I know but could you temporarily fit the glass just using a windscreen rubber (instead of bonding it in)?
In your '14 you've got the cage fitted so structually it wont make a difference. Then once you get the correct screen you can remove the current one easily.

Kev - re route for the trip there, have you or our other illustrious 914 leader 'Kim Jong Bruce Manning Ill' decided which way we're going?

Other Leader! You mean coordinator

I do have a planned route to the International 914 Meeting.
Just need to work out where we buy our lunch and tie up with the two 914s who are on a boat behind the main party.

Is there any meet point before the train or are we just going to line up at the terminal?
Pull over on the left of the queues perhaps?

Can I also suggest avoiding any 'les routiers' unless you like eating plates of pigs b******s and raw kidneys.

Sounds good in theory but not aware there is a front screen seal rubber that would hold the screen in place. Given the frame profile it wouldn't have anything to seal to ?

Andrew

Have seen this done on a 914 in the UK. I took a picture of it but not been able to find it yet. Will look more this evening. Took a photo as I thought the car looked strange then realised that it had no Chrome trim round the windscreen then realised that there was a rubber seal in place. It was a yellow 914 with painted bumpers I believe (possibly a 916 kit on it), in the car park (which was a field) at an annual PCGB event (some large stately home somewhere), if anyone (ie Kev) remembers it.
