My '14 once failed on one of the rear numberplate bulbs not being bright enough. Failure to illuminate the numberplate sufficiently was the term I believe.

Same tester, different year - wiper arms not springy enough......

I once had to prove that my car was old enough to be CO tested (3.5% max I believe) without a catalytic converter.

The joke was that even without the cat --- with it's volume sensing Motec ECU it was just inside the cat limit.
