In place of the back seats was two, chilled kegs of beer.
The pumps are hinged and fold back into the boot.
We need one of these at CLM....

I've never seen so many pictures with so few women in the background
Great pics, Paul. Thanks. I shared the V8 Pagoda pics with the SL113 group, it's one of the member's cars:

Hi Tosh
I am also here , thanks for posting the pic
the car is sold
The red 65 race car, in previous pics from hall 11, was also my old car,
I restore it and sold it 2 years ago , to a german dealer
who did put alot of money into the Engine, which was made by Rugen in Germany
( I dont do porsche engines)
But it was also sold for VERY very big bucks
nice to see some of you
Next year we are planing to have a stand, Eric linden , Me , Alan , Platas !...who knows
It all sounded good, over a bounch off Beer von fass
By the way , we went for the Stuttgart show on Saterday , you guys dident miss a thing
lets hope they arrange it better for the next year
Marek

Yes, Marek, a good guy. He re-manufactures lots of the early Porsche parts (and for Porsche too).Tosh wrote:it's one of the member's cars
His Mercedes was superb. Apparently the engine only adds 40 kilos to the overall weight of the car.
We did also see a 6.3 litre converted Pagoda but that seemed rather too much like showing off.
That car weighed an extra 200+ kilos so I think Marek's upgrade was the more sensible.

I'd just like to thank Marcus (decapman) for organising a superb hotel.
Sadly it did actually prove to be much better than the one I'd booked in previous years.
Marcus & Steve (left4dead) also booked a 'bierkeller' for the evening which gave us a rather more authentic German meal than our normal pizza house.
A good night out, thanks again guys.
It also gave Mark (sladey) - who had frankly been a hinderance all day - a chance to shine.
He proved most adept at distributing the drinks.
The barrel of beer was in litres and my litre/pint conversion app seemed somewhat dubious but seemingly we got through 5 pints each....

Thanks for posting Paul. My 2nd visit so loved seeing the show through your lens too - I was just too busy being awestruck by some of the Porsches on display.

Thank you Paul for posting the photos.
Could not attend the show this year due to a family event.
Did you take a full photo of the Mittlemotor stand?
Looking to see what they had on display this year!

Thanks for the link Rickard. Great photos, you found stuff I never even discovered. It really is too big to cover everything, even with two days.Rickard M wrote:Wonderful pictures Paul, get my amateur pictures to look dull

It was a shame but there seemed to be very few 914's on show, not sure why, there's been more in previous years.

Keith said the same.
Maybe there is a shortage of good 914s for sale at the moment!
