I can't imagine it would be easy to source a crank for a master?
The noisy bottom end of my standard turned out to be a destroyed big end bearing - thankfully the crank can be saved albeit a fair bit has been taken off. Managed to source a set of NOS bearings from the US which were 1/3rd of the price that the German suppliers wanted which also helped! Also decided to replace the oil pump given what had gone inside!
Chris - was that roughly the amount you thought the master would fetch?

Ian, I think you could have a crank made cheaper than sourcing a genuine item.
How much was your oil pump and supplied by ?
I didn't know what to expect the final price for the Master to be - except lots of money!

Chris
I found the conrod I needed and the oil pump from a dealer in Germany - used, but came in at £220 incl the postage.
I found Sue at Porsche-Diesel in America to be very helpful, so worth a try there is you are short of anything.
