Long or short gear lever for 356 rep?

Post by bonerp »

I was just about to order an empi gear lever from gsf but there seems to be a long and a short one. Which goes best in the speedster?

Go for the short shifter, the long one is for a bus. The short one replaces the stock height shifter 11 inches.

Did you sort the dash brow out and has it gone to paint??

OK short it is thanks :D

Yeah Mike made me a lovely eyebrow from poplar. Its a shame to cover it!

Car is in for paint - the paint shop hasn't done much yet but that suits me as I am moving etc towards end of the month so will save me the agro of transporting it again. Think I am going for condor yellow - an original porsche colour. Interior will be black carpets and cream seats/doors/dash. May change my mind a few more times yet tho haha!

Damaged 2 pushrods on the engine grrr - probably when I dropped it out of the car. Got some new ones on order so need to take off the head and replace these. Also ordered a new pushrod just in case . Was annoyed when I discovered this damage!

cheers
