Thanks Bootsy, you've saved me standing in Smiths for 10 mins thinking it must be there somewhere.....Bootsy wrote:Don't think you'll find it in the shops yet. The cover maybe different for the newstand version.

Nigel, I think you're liable to be labelled with that tag too.Mitch wrote:I thought the media whore label might have been a bit harsh, however....
The Chartreuse car looked lovely in the 911 mag, great article on your RS.

i love the way this forum descends so quickly into discussing the spice girls, safe sex, dash-stroking, and who's ugliest
having driven a couple of pre 73 cars on odd occasions, covered 20k miles in a 964 day-to-day, two blasts in a 993, and various drives in 996's and 997's, its strange how similar the air-cooled cars feel once you get over the major mechanical differences, and how different the kettles feel to any of the 911's which came before. will definitely pick up a copy and have a read!..
car looks fantastic on the cover too mr media whore

No, we were near Crickhowell.Sam @ PS Autoart wrote:Were those taken at the Black Mountain Pass?
However, pretty much all the photos in the magazine were shot at night in Cardiff. Those few shot in daylight out in the wilds of Wales are largely just detail shots and could have been done in the hotel car park.
Can't see a sheep in any of 'em.

Details of the magazine are now on Octane's website so I guess the issue is available in store.pauldvern wrote:I must say, that cover shot is stunning!
Cover is different to subscriber copies (as Tom explained) but the car still made the front page.

I'm sorely tempted to ditch C&SC & sign up to Octane on the strength of that cover. Absolutely superb.
Well done Paul. And to the photographer who took the shot. And to the editor for recognising its quality.
Was he using your camera, Paul? Or did you influence him in any way
