who can recommend a good repair shop

Post by green 2,2 s »

Hi,
I own a 1969 2,2 S and have a problem with my gearbox. The clutch lever is somehow disconnected from the pressure plate and I now need someone who can take the gearbox out and take a look.
We moved recently from Germany to Richmond and I would appreciate any recommendations.

Oliver welcome to DDK

If you are in Richmond nr London rather than in Yorkshire then Chris Turner.
He works from North London but lives in your area - give him a call
He rebuilt my gearbox a few years ago

Some of us meet up at the Fairmile (a big pub near Chobham) on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (a week today I think) from about 19:30 onwards - Chris is usually there - why don't you come along and say hello
