I know I'm going to get shot down in flames here but one of the things that bugs me about restos like this is that they don't pay enough attention to minute detail. Check the relationship of the signwriting of the original to the air vents: the telephone number should run across the vents, the word 'utility' on the first line should run over the luggage door – the typeface they've used is too compressed. I know I'm picky but if you're going to do it, do it right. There should also only be two rubber buffers on the side gate – not one in the middle, too. Oh, and use some white-lettered tyres, too.

OK, I'll get my coat... :)

Oh, KS you pedant, However - It's a different car on the back of the pick up in the recereation. Look at the rise of the front wings in the original pic - it's a 718 RSK and not a 550

looking at the photos, the ramps under the car look pretty long allowing it to get on & off :)

adam hughes sent me this photo. ^^^^

the photo in the first post was taken by an old girlfriends uncle. i was at his house in palo alto about 10 years ago looking thru some old slides and saw that picture. that phot i posted is a photo of a projected slide with a film camera. more on that photo is posted here:

the kemperink registry says they are unclear whether or not it is a kemperink.
