The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
I have seen it for sale on and off for a while now.
I think it was originally offered at around this price, but didn't know it had sold for mid twenties.
All steel, nice looking car (never actually seen it in the flesh) and about what I would expect of various Traders you see with Replicas for sale.
TBH if someone wants to build their own they will spend as much ?

Fair play to them, we all like to get as much mark-up as we can. Its a nice ckeeky number to have on your line-up and a big price adds a bit of kudos to the forecourt.
I'm sure it was for sale in the 'teens' at some point, or perhaps I imagined that.

I doubt an RSR replica adds much kudos to Legends' forecourt, and its not a big price compared to their usual line-up of historic race cars
They're also advertising the only TVR Speed 12 roadcar built:
"Weight 950kg. An under stressed 820bhp and 650 ft lbs of torque. Twice the power to weight ratio of a Bugatti Veyron!"
I bid it up to £20k on ebay a few months ago , Had a conversation with the owner to make arrangements to view, but when I rang back he had done a deal with a guy for a 964 . I was told at the time £21k would buy it . As much as I fancy an RSR rep , I can't see myself making an offer on it at that sort of money knowing I could of had it for such a lot less.
Cheers........Russ
"Legends" who had a gulf blue RS rep at a whopping £45k odd (and possibly more I seem to remember?) with a supposed "hot" 250 bhp 3 litre SC engine in it? That car originally had a very nice engine it and was about half that price BEFORE the nice engine was taken out and replaced by what i'm fairly certain was a bog standard SC unit (would anyone really run an uprated SC engine on CIS?) No details of supposed engine upgrades given either.
Now there's a difference I believe in "turning a good profit" and "misleading whilst taking the complete p155" and I know which category the above falls into...
sorry, but seeing the orange RSR on there just reminded me of something that's always annoyed me - i hope no one got suckered into buying that car, i'm sure it was a lovely car BUT not at that price.
i think i'll have to eat my words and take that back as said car is actually (still) with another dealer - at £75k!!! Down as a 3.0 Carrera RS, how nice..
